From field to plate, we are passionate about the food our Adlington Free Range Turkeys consume, and we ensure only the best food ingredients in their diet. We use locally grown oats which have amazing natural properties in terms of anti-oxidant and fibre and give just the right amount of slow burn fat. This, combined with the traditional ‘game hanging’ of our turkeys, guarantees the very best texture and flavour to your table.
From the rearing house – where they are littered daily with soft barley straw – to our fox proofed outdoor environment, the birds enjoy the highest standard of care. Every Adlington Free Range Turkey is sheltered outside with specially designed ‘turkey tunnels’, which provide ideal ventilation and natural light. A generous quarter-acre run is allowed per turkey and all birds have access to fresh food and water at all times.
